The Art of Teasing

Teasing is an art form that many Americans use to keep the sexual tension alive in their relationships. A couple in Atlanta might engage in playful teasing throughout the day. The woman could send her partner a flirty text message in the middle of the workday, like “Can’t wait to see you tonight. I have some naughty plans.” Or, when they are out in public, the man might casually brush his hand against the woman’s thigh under the table at a restaurant, creating a sense of anticipation.​

During sexual encounters, teasing can also be part of the experience. One partner might gently touch the other’s sensitive areas, like the nipples or the inner thighs, but not in a way that leads directly to orgasm.
